Collaborators :

The biggest sources of opportunity are collaboration and partnership. And today, with digital communication, there is more of that everywhere.

Biomaterials in Nanotechnology :

Nanotechnology and Nano science involve the ability to see and to control individual atoms and molecules. Everything on Earth is made up of atoms like the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the buildings and houses we live in, and our own bodies. But something as small as an atom is impossible to see with the naked eye. In fact, it’s impossible to see with the microscope. Nanotechnology and Biomaterials in medical applications appear to be excellent, there is a significant need and demand for the development of a bone substitute that is bio-active and exhibits material properties (mechanical and surface) comparable with those of natural, healthy bone. In bone tissue engineering, nano-meter-sized ceramics, polymers, metals and composites have been receiving much attention recently.

Anti-Aging Medicine:

Anti-aging medicine is a clinical specialty is founded on the application of advanced scientific and medical technologies for the early detection, prevention, treatment, and reversal of age-related dysfunction, disorders, and diseases. It is a healthcare model promoting innovative science and research to prolong the healthy lifespan in humans. As such, anti-aging medicine is based on principles of sound and responsible medical care that are consistent with those applied in other preventive health specialties. The phrase "anti-aging," as such, relates to the application of advanced biomedical technologies focused on the early detection, prevention, and treatment of aging-related disease.

Almost 30 years have #passed since a term ‘#tissue #engineering’ was created to represent a new concept that focuses on regeneration of #neotissues from cells with the support of #biomaterials and growth factors. This interdisciplinary engineering has attracted much attention as a new #therapeutic means that may overcome the drawbacks involved in the current #artificial #organs and organ #transplantation that have been also aiming at replacing lost or severely #damaged #tissues or organs. However, the tissues #regenerated by this tissue engineering and widely applied to patients are still very limited, including #skin#bone#cartilage#capillaryand #periodontal tissues

The success of soft tissue implants has primarily been due to the development of synthetic polymers. This is mainly because the polymers can be tailor-made to match the physical and chemical properties of soft tissues. In addition, polymers can be made into various physical forms, such as liquid for filling spaces, fibers for suture materials, films for catheter balloons, I knitted fabrics for blood vessel prostheses, and solid forms for cosmetic and weight-bearing applications.

Regenerative medicine is the branch of medicine that develops methods to regrow, repair or replace damaged or diseased cells, organs or tissues. Regenerative medicine includes the generation and use of therapeutic stem cells, tissue engineering and the production of artificial organs.

Rome is one of the most ancient cities in Europe. Rome is easily divided into two regions: the inner city, within the Aurelian Wall, built in the late third century to enclose the area around the Seven Hills; and the sprawling outer city, with its suburbs. There are three types of hospitals in Italy: general care facilities, specialist centers, and psychiatric care hospitals. Facilities are further defined by the number of patients they intend to serve.
